Community Mobile Outreaches were organised to contribute to women’s empowerment and share knowledge on the basic laws to address injustices against them.
Under the GIVES projects the persons with disability and women living with HIV and AIDS paralegal groups have organized outreaches in communities and radio programme to educate GESI groups on their rights and where to seek redress.
The persons with disabilities group have done extensive community outreaches in villages beyond the catchment area where they reached out to communities where PWD’s have legal challenges. There is a lot of stigma issue in the Volta Region when it has to do with HIV and AIDS and WLHIV group targeted secondary schools in the Volta Region during their outreaches they also involve resource person from the health sector to make a presentation on HIV and AIDS.
