FIDA-Ghana organized three (3) training for media personnel in Accra (Weija), Ho and Sunyani which benefitted thirty one (31) stakeholders working to improve report on intra-gender violence against GESI groups specifically PWD and WLHIV the training created linkages between the paralegals (PWD) and media. This training of media enriched their knowledge in the area of the Domestic Violence and the Disability Act.

90% of media personnel did not know the contents of the Disability Act and some provisions of the Domestic Violence Act like free medical care for survivors. The oral testimony documentary of PWDs on the challenges they face was aired in Weija and Sunyani. In Ho, the leadership of the paralegal association of PWD’s were brought into the meeting with the media to highlight their challenges in accessing funds under the Common fund set aside for persons with disabilities. They took their contacts and invited them to speak on Volta Star radio about the paralegal network and the GIVES project.
